Johnson's & Johnson's: 100 Years of Scientific Research

My mom pampered me and my siblings with Johnson's & Johnson's baby products when we were young. I think it's a generational thing, a tradition by mothers. When I had my first born, I had Johnson's baby products for bath and nappy routines. The only thing that has changed is that I used the Johnson's baby lavender (The Bedtime Bath Series). I can't get enough of that lavender scent which I find relaxing.

Mommies were invited for a babyshower-like event at the Hotel Intercontinental in Makati by Johnson's &  Johnson's Philippines.  A good time to catch up with fellow mommy bloggers and the first one I saw was Miss Anne of Nuffnang and Mommy Pehpot. Luckily, Mommy Vance was also there :)

So visionaries turned billionaires make the worst kind of friends - traitors! Ah so goes the betrayal with nothing but money and a lawsuit to salve the wounds. The Facebook movie/The Social Network was gripping, enjoyable and worth the popcorn :)

Though today's weather was unforgiving, we made it time for the screening and I really do have fun going to Nuffnang premieres.  This was the second movie premiere I attended, the first one was Salt and this time around I went home with a loot bag. Nuffnang events are about the only time I get to see other bloggers (Hi Jane!) - its a great way to catch up!

One Big Smile for MommyCow

At my son's school, the teachers are putting up student pictures for their birthday board. He's quite excited about it, Cow likes to anticipate birthday parties.

Cow was quite fussy and won't go still for me during the photoshoot at home. He just lost his tooth recently and he's a bit shy about smiling.

We had Daddycow choose the photo he liked best. The next day Cow gave it to his teacher at St. Vincent's. They called him "Pogi!" Haha which means handsome in Filipino.

My Little Boy's Height: Not so Little Anymore

Today, we did some measuring by marking my son's height against a wall. Something my dad used to do when we were kids. 

Though his pedia did give us a growth model or growth chart, I could use (its one of those giraffes with a stretched neck with the inches on it) I still prefer Lolocow's method. Something about scratching or marking the wall seems so permanent. A touching rite of passage as it can get for a six year-old.

So today on August 18, 2010:

Cow stands 46 1/2 inches which is 3.8 feet

A Wonderful Weekend
