Bought some new pans today, gelatin and baking ingredients at the Bakers Depot at Waltermart, Makati. This cozy shop has good Buy 1-Take 1 bargains like baking utensils and packaging. I like that the shop is very accessible and I can easily run off to get some goods for baking emergencies.



Cheap baking supplies can also be found in Quiapo and at that fairytale-like castle near Camp Crame in Quezon City.

Jimuel Pacquiao, Manny Pacquiao's eldest son celebrated his 8th Birthday at the posh Vivere Hotel in Alabang. Manny and Jinky Pacquiao arrived straight from Gensan. Among those invited are celeb kids and Jimmuel's classmates from Brent International school. It was a very grand Transformers birthday party theme and local news crews bothered with a live telecast from Alabang as Manny showed up to give his big birthday boy Jimuel a hug. Mind you, the kid though camera-shy is very cute and takes after his mother's pretty features.

The Pambansang Kamao took a much needed break from his training, he is scheduled to fight Rick Hatton this 2009.

Cow and the Candy Panda

Tita Janussy came by one day to give my dear cow his post Christmas present. He spent the day counting the candy inside the panda and hugging the thing for hours. Call it sugar love!

I've always denied him candy- menthol candy, lollipops, mentos, bubblegum. The kind he would like to crackle with his teeth, I don't know why he wouldn't just settle on sucking on it. But trying to crack hard candy with his baby teeth just disturbs me. Hence, he rarely gets hard candy (but he does get chocolate). So understandably, comes his excitement and energy over this Panda with treats!



One thing I love about Cow, as much as he loves candy, he also enjoys brushing his teeth. He has two toothbrushes, his spiderman toothbrush and his brand new electric dolphin toothbrush which deserves another post =)
